From his early days fishing in picturesque Marigot Bay on the west coast, Thomas Peter, as he was then known, dreamed of a life on the waves, bringing his experience of sailing, and the marine life with which he shared the water, to the many visitors to his beautiful island home.
Before the age of 20 Tom had worked at the Rodney Bay Marina, and at a number of St. Lucia’s leading hotels offering water-sports to guests, but he felt that something was missing – an attention to detail and customer service that he could only truly offer on board his own boat.
In 1998 Tom bought an Aqua Sport 22 and named it Exodus. Exodus Boat Charters, and Captain Tom, were ready to take on the world. The fleet has since grown to five boats, all of which are fully equipped to international standards and

Captain Tom may be widely known as the face of the company, but he is supported by an amazing team. There is for example Captain Griffith who shares the same passion for fishing as Captain Tom does and has as many years of experience. There is also Captain Bobin and Captain Kervinus who operate the Speed Boats with help from first mates Shernell and Penny. All have incredible knowledge about the island and take great pride in showing their beautiful island to visitors. The fishing crew also includes Captain Curvin with first mates Arnold and Kensley. All of them are incredibly passionate about fishing and will do their best every time to put you on the fish!
